These introductory burlesque classes cover the following: 

• Burlesque Taster Session- this session allows the complete newcomer to have a go and see if burlesque is for them.

• Burlesque Character- characterisation, themes in burlesque, acting technique.

• The Moves!- some common burlesque moves: the shimmy, the grind, the strut, posing and framing.

• Costume and Striptease- how to use your costume for character & effect, and how to use it in a striptease.

• Stage Presence, Confidence & Constructing a Routine- how to use a stage, the importance of confidence and how to fake it, and how to begin putting together a routine.

Classes are for everyone who is over 18 years old, regardless of gender, ethnicity, body size, or special need.
